Tiled Mosaic wacko

  • I’m going nuts. I’m trying to post photos into small tiled mosaic galleries within accordions in Divi. I’ve done this a million times using your wonderful plugin. I see in another thread that you recently updated your plugin. Thank you. I’m running WP 5.4 if that matters on php 7.x. I don’t know if it’s due to the WP update or what but I’m struggling in a way I’ve never seen before. I’ve cleared all caches repeatedly.

    The first accordion worked as expected. The rest do not… they show the thumbnails in the editing box and then in the front end you see the text above it and all the empty white space where the images should be tiled. If you click on that space the images are actually there in their large, slider format. For some reason the front-end thumbnails aren’t displaying. I’ve cleared every cache. I’ve gone from previewing in draft to actually publishing even though most of the images are not displaying, just to rule that out as a possibility.

    I’m so perplexed. You’ll see the first accordion on March 14 shows the properly tiled gallery and then the one on March 16 shows the text followed by tons of white space where the images should display. Click in there to actually SEE the images. I just don’t know what I’m missing….any ideas?!!!

    Well, I woke up with an aha… if the first one worked and the others didn’t it had to be because the first accordion started open and the others started closed. I changed the setting so that all accordions are open and VOILA! They all work. So now I can leave it that way and they’re still each closeable after viewing.

    IF I could find some code that will let it work as initially setup that’d be awesome but this is at least viable. If you have any ideas now that I’ve uncovered where the conflict lies please LMK. I’ll also ask Divi. Thanks.
