time and again problem with duplicating options or articles

    i follow the forum very closely. i noticed that lately the problems with duplicating lotions or entire articles have been increasing.

    to be honest, i don’t see the problem that way when it comes to publishing options. the storage of the option with the same slug is rejected and a new formulation is proposed instead.

    I see bigger problems with the duplication of entire articles. here there is the possibility to overwrite existing options in the database, because it is not certain that the same slug will be saved.

    How about if the system would automatically add a new ending to the slug?

    Problem is the same – a user have to pay attention of what it does. Great possibility comes with great responsibility.

    There is no need for adding new endings automatically. You probably misunderstand this feature.
