You should use UTC time. For example, Brazil vs Croatia starts at 20:00.

Here is what I have in wordpress:
Timezone: Paris The current UTC time is 2014-06-11 4:42:42 p.m. The current time is 2014-06-11 6:42:42 p.m.

I do not know how to put games to French hours.

Theoretically you do not need to change anything. Just the times of matches has been recorded in UTC format, that the plugin will display according to the time in your browser.

For example, Brazil vs Croatia will start at 20 hours UTC time, but in my browser, as I am in Brazil, the displayed time is 17 hours.

    I don’t understand.

My browser game brazil vs croatia is displayed: Group A – Sao Paulo – 12/06/2014 7:00 p.m. but I’m in France and the game should be 10:00 p.m.

yet everything is ok in wordpress

Go to Admin >> World Cup >> Team and Matches >> Matches and confirm if the time of Brazil vs. Croatia is 20:00. If you change this time, it’s normal to have problem now, because the time need to will be UTC.

The time is 5:00 p.m. on for the match brazil vs croatia
is what I have to change at 20:00?

Yes. When you click on Import Button, matches are imported with the correct times. In case, Brazil vs. Croatia this is the time.

I’m having an issue with this right now, since it should display the time with the local time as you say, but I’m in Venezuela (UTC -4:30, Caracas) and every match says it begins 1h before the actual time. I’m providing a screenshot to show you how it looks in my site (bottom section) opposed to what the real times should be according to my timezone (top section), from a calendar: https://a.pomf.se/vwnpye.jpg

The “Convert kickoff times to local timezone. If unchecked kickoff times are displayed as match local time” box is checked, if I uncheck it, the disparity is even larger for obvious reasons.

And what is the match time in admin panel? Brazil vs. Croatia face off at 20 hours (UTC)?

Regardless of the time being displayed, the most important is that the countdown is running. Ie, lack right now 23 hours and 52 minutes to the start of the tournament.

No… I think that might be the issue, it says 2014-06-12 19:00:00.
And here’s how it looks: https://a.pomf.se/drcfmu.jpg

In this case, you probably should have installed version 1.5 of the plugin. In newer versions of the schedule matches have been fixed. I suggest you do the fix manually, adding 1 hour in each of the matches.

Alright, if that’s the case I’ll try to do a manual MySQL fix to add +1 hour to all the dates. I’m glad it’s nothing too serious and can be fixed easily. Thank you!
