Time on Log Incorrect

Just to make sure, the date and time (universal time + local time) that are shown on the settings page are correct?

Also, if you hover the date of the event, does those dates make sense?

Please see my original post. I stated that in Settings > General we have Vienna time. Here is a screenshot, if it will ever finish loading. The times are not right. I am working and writing from New York UTC-4, so it is showing my time incorrectly by 12 hours as it was 7:57am when I took the screenshot. The dropdown shows the local time incorrectly as UTC, and it shows GMT time incorrectly as Vienna time UTC+2.

How can I upload an image? It is not accepting a copy and paste.

I also could not paste images, so I uploaded mine on https://imgur.com/ and then inserted the “imgurl” block here on the support forum and pasted the link that I got from imgur. Pretty cumbersome…

Right, too cumbersome. Can you just take my word for it? If what I stated is correct, what would be your next step in solving this? Has no-one else reported this.

Timezones are difficult to work with. In my testing it is working correct but I will do some testing to see if I can figure out what’s going on. Perhaps it’s confused when you’re working from another timezone than the website.

I just updated Simple History on a site in my own time zone, shown in one of the images. The time in Simple History is correct, but the dropdowns local time and GMT are mixed up.

I just checked another website in my time zone, same issue. Displayed time is correct but local and GMT are mixed up in dropdown. Simple History version 5.0.1.

Great. Hope we can get this fixed soon. Being 12 hours off makes it hard to tell who has done what when.

Hi Eskapism, any idea when you will have a new update with correct times? This is difficult working with a large organization of people making updates from different time zones including a few tech support people and not knowing the correct time.

I have made some progress (see GitHub issue) regarding the time zones and I think I will have a fix in the next update of the plugin.
