    Are there known issues using Timeline Express with the Twenty Seventeen theme?

    See image below … announcement details scroll “over” the menu header (although icon / line disappear underneath).

    Any suggestions? Thanks –

    Hi @7746t,

    There haven’t been any reported issues, but it’s possible that it’s just a minor z-index CSS tweak. Do you have a link to the page where that is occurring? We should be able to provide you with some CSS to work around the issue.

    Ahh … the z-index ??

    Added the following CSS and it has taken care of the issue.

    .site-navigation-fixed.navigation-top {
    z-index: 101 !important;
    }

    One other question. Is there any downside to having a timeline as the primary content on the homepage from an SEO perspective?

    Thanks again for the replies.

    Great, glad to hear that fixed the overlay issue with the navigation.

    As for the SEO issues, I wouldn’t think so. If your timeline has the ‘read more’ links visible then crawlers should be able to crawl subsequent pages.

    Either way the content will be indexed and shouldn’t negatively effect SEO, at least not that we’ve seen.
