• Hello Timely Support. Been playing with your calendar on and off for weeks now.
    -Wordpress Version: 4.5
-All in one Timely Calender Version 2.3.12
    -No Calendar add-on plugins
-Fresh plugin install, not upgrade of calendar
-Did NOT import events, manually added

My question is with subscribing to a calendar via Google Calendar.

How long does it take for events to show up on your Google Calendar on a subscribed calendar? I am subscribed and I added a new event and it’s been a few hours and it still hasn’t shown up on my calendar.

PS: I installed Advanced Cron Manager Plugin and I see the “ai1ec_cron” there showing hourly. I manually excecuted it but the even never shows up on the Google Calendar.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Are you trying to export/import past events?

    Hi Benjamin,

No. Just added a future event yesterday and, as of now 12 hours later, still never made it to my google calendar. Yes, I’m subscribed.

    Here’s two screenshots:

    Hi Benjamin,

Since it seems as if you’re taking your sweet time to reply…GOOD NEWS, it took over 24 hours for the added event to show up onto the Google calendar, but it did indeed finally show up.

Caveat: I do own the own the website (and the server) that this Timely Calendar is located on.

Question: Any idea on how to speed this synchronization up? I would have thought it would have been something to do with a CRON job, but when I executed it manually with the Advanced Cron Manager Plugin, it didn’t show up.

It took over 24 hours. Let me know your thoughts. I’ll mark this topic as resolved, once I hear back from you on how to speed it up.

    Thank you for your time.
