Timeout errors and spinning circles
-
Previous posters have beat me to related issues, but the topics were closed due to inactivity. There are two halves to my problem. First, I’m getting a lot of timeouts, which is new for me.
[08-Apr-2016 04:08:36 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\tiny-compress-images\src\class-tiny-compress-curl.php on line 58
Second, when there is a timeout error on a new media file upload, your spinning icon never stops. (When there is a timeout error on a file already in the media library, the spinning does stop and the
x sizes not compressed
message reappears.)Unfortunately, there are a lot of moving parts to my configuration this week: I’m running on localhost with your new version and WordPress 4.5-RC.
I do also have a live server with your new version and WordPress 4.4.2. I haven’t forced a timeout there, but the spinning still seems a little wonky. Even for successful compressions, I have to refresh the page for it to stop.
