Timer works on back end, not on front end

  • I set up this timer so when it finishes it’s count down it gives a different msg saying its over. That msg in all that is being displayed even though the count down isn’t finished. It was working up till this latest version of WP. I have tried turning the plugin off then on again.

    Any help would be great to get this plugin working again.

    latest WP 4.5.3
    latest Easy Timer plugin 3.7.2
    Here is the the count down code I used and the msg that gets displayed after the count is done. On the front end the final msg is the only think that shows.
    [countdown date=2017/04/17-00:00:00]
    Just [timer] till the trip!
    [after]Look for future trips! [/countdown]
