Times in cells coming in as decimals and how to select cells for Advanced Editor

    Two questions:

    I am trying to import a table that has times in some of the columns but they are coming over as decimals instead. I’ve formatted the cells in Excel as Format>Cells>Time XX:XX and tried to import again with no success.

    Also, I am trying to use the Advanced Editor and can’t figure out how to select the cells I want to edit. I click into the cell I want to edit and I still get the error: Please click into the cell that you want to edit using the “Advanced Editor”

    Nevermind, I figured out the first part. You have to convert the XLS file to CSV and then it works.

    Still need help with the second question though.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yeah, unfortunately, plain Excel import can not import such time formats. Using CSV is much better here.

    For the “Advanced Editor”: Just click into the desired cell after confirming that notice.
    Alternatively, click into the desired cell while holding down the “Shift” key, which is a nice shortcut ??

    Oh geez, thank you. I didn’t realize I had to select the cell AFTER I received the error. Thanks for the shortcut too! Very handy! Great plugin in, btw! =)
