    Your server has incorrect time. Please correct the clock on your server.

    According to my hosting co., the clock is correct:

    We could see the server “zeta.elinux” present time is set correctly.Please have a check,

    date Tue Feb 4 21:45:52 EST 2014

    Twitter as well as any other server uses Unix timestamp. It’s universal and timezone independent.

    You can get yours using php time() function. https://us3.php.net/time

    Then compare it to the correct unix time: https://www.unixtimestamp.com/index.php

    Thanks for your help thus far – is this something that would be added to my theme’s functions file?

    The plugin is working now; I did no more than what the default setup requires – whatever caused the initial “timestamp out of bounds…” error remains a mystery to me.
