I am using the block editor on a brand new website under development. Our webinar events are viewed worldwide so, given that The Events Calendar is apparently unable to display the viewer’s local time for an event, it is imperative that we show the Timezone for each date/time. We “Use manual time zones…” and have “Show time zone” checked. We are using the “Default Events Template”. In the list view, the event shows with the time and the “PDT” timezone. In the single event page editor, toggling the “Show time zone” flips the “America/Los_Angeles” on and off in the editor, but has no effect on the page when viewed/previewed. There is no time zone shown. I have used a browser to inspect the html and the time zone is not there so it’s not CSS that is suppressing it. Any clues?

    Hi @tedfranklin

Thanks for reaching out, I’ll be happy to help!

There could be a few issues here, however, the most likely one could be your Wp time zone configuration. Can you go through this guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/working-with-time-zones/ and see if the steps outlined in it resolve this, please?

Namely the WP timezone configuration and the “update timezone data” setting.
