Timezone makes time shift but not date shift

    I installed and configured the free version of Timetics on my site. I teach English online, so I and my students are in different timezones. I was pleased to find Timetics could handle that. However, when I tested it, I found that the hours change, but the date stays the same. For instance, I am available on Friday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. For a student in Taipei, Taiwan, my 8 p.m. would be 8:00 a.m. on their Saturday morning. Timetics shows me as unavailable on Saturdays, even in Taipei. The student sees my Friday 8 p.m. time slot as their Friday, 8 a.m. In real time, we would miss each other on Google Meet by 24 hours.
