TimThumb Doesnt Work

  • Hi friends..

    Im using mimbo 3 free for my web site and the latest version of wordpress ( karahan.dr.tr ) ……. Although I changed all CHMOD permissions to 777 for the theme my pictures do not appear on Home Page … Because in theme’s page it says when you change permissions to 777 it will automaticly take , crop and put the pictures to your main page …

  • I’ve had issues with this as well. There are several first steps that have worked for me in the past.

    First: Clean your browser cache, or try it on a different computer. sometimes it’s a local problem.

    Next: Is there a “cache” folder in the “scripts” folder along with the timthumb file? and were the permissions for that set for 777?

    Try the permission 755 if 777 isn’t working.

    Try deleting the theme and uploading it from scratch. (Don’t just upload it over the existing version.)

    If none of the above work, contact the developer of the theme. Often they can give helpful solutions.

    Thanks for your help.. I have deleted wordpress totally and installed it from simple script … And it worked … And the problem is solved ??
