TimThumb Version?

We’re hosting at WPEngine and their TimThumb script scanning comes through and flags your plugin.
Specifically I’ve gotten this message a few times:
`Found version 2.8.14 ../wp-content/plugins/wp-google-maps/timthumb.php – Replaced with 2.8.13.1
I’m curious, why would you guys be using an older version of the script? The auto-upgrade doesn’t seem to break the plugin.
