All of a sudden any new profile photos we add are showing up very small. They use to show up similar to this one: https://albanypresbytery.org/season-for-hope-first-sunday-advent/.

Any new user we create is getting the small photo. If they were an existing user before a couple of weeks ago they appear as normal.

Any idea on how we can force the larger size instead of it downsizing?

    Hi @gadietrich,

Frist of all, just to get a better idea of the setup that you have:

    1. What functionality are you using to display the profile photos at the bottom of those pages? Are you using a specific plugin for that?
    2. Also, recently, have been any modifications made to that specific section where the images are displayed?

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the reply.

    1. Displaying using the Divi Theme Builder using an image module that is set to Author Profile Pic.
    2. No, nothing that we can recall.

If we set a specific width and height in the Divi image, even if the image is square, it squeezes it and is still calling a 96px image: https://s.grcwk.co/2NuQk9Zq.

    Hi @gadietrich,

It seems that my last message was not sent.

    I’ve recommended the following test:

If you have a testing/staging site where this issue is reproduced, briefly disable only the Profile Builder plugin there, create a new user and upload an Avatar image, and check if this image appears correctly or if it’s also tiny

With the Profile Builder disabled we aren’t able to upload Avatar images. But with it disabled all our images are gone and set to default and they are all the smaller size.

    Just to have a look:

    1. ?Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and send a full screenshot with everything you have installed related to Profile Builder (make sure the plugin version can be seen)?
    2. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Form Fields -> edit the Avatar field -> and send a full screenshot from there (please make sure all the settings from there can be seen)?
    3. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Add-ons -> and send a full screenshot from there, especially from the Free Add-ons section?

On a staging/testing site, please do the following test:

There is a high chance that the 96×96 image size is coming from the User Profile Picture add-on, I’m saying this since you’ve not even used the default Profile Builder Avatar field to set your users’ avatars.

I’ve created a task and forwarded it to our development team so that we can add a filter in that add-ons functionality which can later be used to set different sizes for the Profile Picture uploaded through it.

Maybe a small test you can do on a staging/testing site would be to briefly disable that add-on, add the Avatar field to your form, then create a new user and upload the Avatar image for this new user while using this field. After that check how this avatar image is displayed in the front end (that Divi section).

I’m not exactly sure but you might also need to change what field is used to retrieve this Avatar image inside of the Divi Image module.

    Best regards,
