Is it possible to replace the tab text editor with TinyMCE editor when the Advanced Editor Tools (previously TinyMCE Advanced) plugin is installed?

The default text editor is very limited as I would like to add tables etc.

    Hi @tierarepro

The tab editor uses TinyMCE so if you activate that plugin it should apply to that editor as well.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
When the plugin is active, it applies to the product description field, but the custom tabs field is still using the old editor. See screenshot below.

    Hi @tierarepro

    Thank you for the screenshot.

It looks like Advanced Editor Tools doesn’t apply to all classic editors by default. We probably need to do something to declare support for that plugin.

I will add this to the to-do list, but we don’t have the resources to add this feature at this time.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
Can you suggest an editor that does work with your tabs and has table functionality?
