Hi – when attempting to access TinyMCE, getting this error:

    10/Feb/15 15:21:16 #5214185 high – 71.8.176.243 GET /wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php – Forbidden direct access to PHP script – [/wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php] – sitename.hostingdomain.com

I don’t see any sort of rule to disable…

    Hi,

    You need to go to:
“NinjaFirewall > Firewall Policies > WordPress > Block direct access to any PHP file located in one of these directories”
Then, uncheck the second option related to “/wp-includes/*” directories.

Excellent, thank you for the assist. Is there any reason to uncheck the first set of options in the Firewall Polices for WordPress? I noticed it also contains an includes area for the admin and am wondering if it should be enabled as well?

There shouldn’t be any reason to disable it, because it only protects static subfolders (/css/, /images/ etc), not the main /wp-admin/ folder.
