tinyMCE broken in widgets

  • The tinyMCE editor field is broken, the toolbar is missing, text color in the field is white and these are the JS errors in the console.

    Syntax Error: unexpected end of input
    Uncaught reference error tinymce is not defined

    only with the pagebuilder and widgets bundle plugins activated. this happens in any widget that has a tinymce field
    with the default WP theme

    Hi Paul

    At first I’d have suggested that this might be a plugin conflict – except that you said it happens when you only have Page Builder and Widgets Bundle installed. How fresh are your installs of WordPress, Page Builder and Widgets Bundle.

    Although it’s rare, we have seen other plugins modifying core files, which can break things like this. Would it be possible for you to create a fresh WordPress installation and check if you’re still getting this issue?
