TinyMCE Custom Buttons

  • Hi everyone,

    I am trying to add a button to the WYSIWYG editor via a plugin, I have been reading the examples on how to do this in WordPress 2.5 but am finding it difficult.

    Anyone out there have a simple full example, something like a button that adds “hello wound!” to the page text?

    I have had a look at how other plugins do it but that is even harder to fallow than the WordPress and TinyMCE docs.

    I know this is a bit of a long shot but it would really help me out.
