    Hi,
The buttons are not visible in the visual editor after upgrading WP to version 3.9. For some of them there are blank spaces in the toolbar buttons, when the cursor passes over them, appears a description of the button. After clicking, a window appears with a strange look.

I hope the information is useful.

I forgot to clarify that I use theme Graphene 1.9.2

Has nothing to do with theme being used. I use a totally different theme. Upgraded to WP 3.9 and UTMCE is gone from the visual editor in posts/pages. Its installed and active. Settings are correct and I tried re-saving the settings but UTMCE does not show up in the visual editor now. Its broke.

Any fixes coming? Soon hopefully? ??

    Thanks.

    Yes.
If you have updated to version 3.9 of WordPress… then you will want to switch to using WP Edit:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-edit/

I have spent three months preparing WP Edit for the new version of WordPress. If you have any issues switching… please let me know.

OK I have WP Edit installed now and deleted UTMCE.

I am noticing when I center text and assign H1 to it, it is no longer centered. Reverts to align left. If I change this text back standard “paragraph” it then centers but also becomes a link to the page itself.

    Thoughts?

    Thank you.

(I am also going to post this on your support forum)

Lots of changes with the new WP tinymce4 editor.

Please play around with it for a bit. I’m certainly open to suggestions for modifications. This is new for everyone.

It may be a default WP thing now, where h1 tags revert to left aligned (for responsiveness)… I don’t know.

What theme are you using? Tried using a different theme just to see if it handles h1 tags the same way?

Thanks. Have posted on your support forum now.

    Same problem using other themes.

So I’ve tested this further and it appears not to be an issue with WP Edit but a WP 3.9 problem. I deactivated WP Edit and tried again. Same problem. H1 tag title reverts to align left when actually set for center. Also tried with other themes having WP Edit deactivated and same problem persists.

    Thanks for the additional info!
I’ll check into this as well.. and see if I can provide any reference.
