I switched on the TinyMCE editor for blogs, but it’s not appearing. It could be many things, but before I spend a few hours on it, is there a WordPress setting one has to have switched on? I have classic blocks still allowed, and Classic by default. Does one have to install an extra plugin?

When I go into the back end, I have that editor is there, but it’s not on the front end.

Okay, it’s my theme (Colibri Pro) – somehow it’s blocking it. I will ask them, but they usually can’t do much. Does anyone here have any ideas? A code snippet maybe?

    Hello @intercommsa,

You might consider trying the Classic Editor plugin. It could potentially resolve the issue you’re experiencing or provide the functionality you need.

Thank you, I am using the Classic Editor plugin. My Theme says “It’s not us”, they are very unhelpful. The editor is core to member’s posting successfully.

I found I can use Forminator because their “add post” form works, but then I have to find a way to change your link on the profile to the new Forminator page. I was trying to avoid adding a new blog link on the menu, but your menu extension might fix that. I will try it as an alternative.

@intercommsa It’s great to hear that Forminator’s “add post” form works for your needs. If you need any further assistance regarding this, please let us know.

For anyone else with this issue – because you can change the “submit new blog” page on Profile Grid’s settings, it looks like it’s possible to use other methods of adding content! (Not tested yet but finger’s crossed).
