To clarify, I am using WordPress 4.2.2 uploaded to my web host (Bluehost) using the one-click install they feature.

I then typed in https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin and logged in from there.

One more clarification: I am using SiteOrigin’s Page Builder plugin so that might be interacting somehow.

Maybe that widget has been corrupted somehow. Could you check your browser javascript console and see if any errors are reported there?
If you delete that widget and put a new one in its place, does it work?
