Hi, if you are using a theme please specify the name to see if there are javascript collisions to fix. Thanks

    4.8.2

Try doing this diff, worked for me…41124

Security plugins will alert after those changes are made.

Hi seedy Nextcellent was patched already with that incident, but I think there is something else related.

Interesting! A WP update put that file back to normal, then 33’s pop-up was still blank for me, so I did those edits again and it’s back.

I admit I’m using an ancient theme, Picolight. Might also be a caching issue.

Thank you for replying and being around, grateful to you.

    Hi,
I have the same blank window. And I don’t want to do any changes in WP Core. Therefore I would like to have a better solution.
    Cheers, Dirk

Hello, same with all my websites where I use your plugin.. problems since newest wordpress version, templates generated with Artisteer. It worked fine before the WordPress was updated
Solution by Seedy did not work for me

Yes I’m afraid I’m currently dealing with a TinyMCE bug that changed over WP versions.
Since I know what is this, I’m looking a smart way of detecting when javascript throws an error. I dont’ want to rely on…

if (this version of WP is x) do this
if (this version of WP is y) do that

because is a very poor way of solving the issue and the patch will be bind to WP version, making unnecessary legacy code hard to remove.

I hope find something this week to release a quick patch.

thanks, looking forward to a solution.. regards from Germany

Nextcellent version 1.9.34 will undo the previous tinyMCE patch. Users which have the empty modal issue are advised to install the latest WP version, solving the tinyMCE related issue.

You can see more about this issue in the forum https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/blank-insertion-pop-up/

    Thanks

To be clear: if you have the empty window modal issue:
    -update WP
-install Nextcellent 1.9.34 (this version will be released probably today or tomorrow).
    Thanks.
