TinyMCE with tdo mini forms not working

I cannot for the life of me get the TinyMCE editor to work with TDO Mini Forms. I really don’t want to force my users to use html, because many of them don’t know it.

I followed the tutorial for adding TinyMCE, but it’s not working for me (no TinyMCE editor shows up at all, just a text area). It was last updated almost 3 years ago and tons of users are reporting that it doesn’t work for them either.

Is there any updated, working tutorial on this, or *any* chance it gets added as a standard option to the plugin? I appreciate all the work that’s been done on this plugin but it baffles me that this is not a built-in part of it after all this time.
