TIP: allowing future post dates for tours

    This is a tip for users wanting to post tours with future dates showing instead of published dates

    wp-travel uses custom post types that remain hidden if a future date is used in the ‘publish’ metabox. For many scenarios, the publish date is not useful meta data. The start date of the tour/trip/ whatever is more relavant

    To allow future tour/travel dates to work properly install this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/no-future-posts/ This will let you post date the tours to the correct start date and still show in your listings. see example https://prntscr.com/io62yn

    Thank you very much for the posts and hopefully, this will be helpful for the one who is looking for the similar feature.

    In case of our plugin, we have not defined the meta field in case of future date and we will definitely look into it and include them in future updates if possible.

    Defining meta fields for future dates would indeed be useful menaing we need not add that ‘future posts plugin’
