    This is not a support request but a tip I would like to share with the community. Also a reminder for myself. ??

    I have had several sites where out of the blue, wp all import stopped running cron jobs. When I checked server log files it showed they did start but nothing happened after that.

    After searching high and low for weeks in a row, I now have finally found what caused the cron jobs to not run:
    the iThemes Security plugin …
    disabling it -immediately- solved the problem!

    I have better experiences with Wordfence (well, with this specific issue then …). Seems that -also online- these security functionalities can cause unexpected and hard to solve problems (on your desktop the same happens lots of times too).

    Thanks for the conflict report. We’ll take a look and see if there is anything we can do, but it looks like switching to Wordfence is a workable solution in the mean time.
