TIP: Temp solution to have CF7 version 5.1 work with ReCaptcha V2

  • There is a solution to help make CF7 version 5.1 work with ReCaptcha V2, it’s on YouTube right now, it’s a silent video but you can get the drift, just google the following and it will come up: YouTube How to Fix Contact Form 7 ReCaptcha Checkbox | Update Problem.

    Ok yep I understand that, I just tried it, but I will also be waiting for the developer to send a fix.

    waaaay too much work. There are plugins that easily integrate v2 into CF7, or you can just roll it back.

    Yep Agreed, HOW? Does anyone have any good “Step by Step” documentation on how to install (I do not care what widget or plug in) anything that will work? I have tried about 6 different plug ins and V2 and V3 and deleting and resetting and short codes and all sorts of stuff till I am dizzy, I got noting and no matter how hard I search the forums all I come up with is people who are so thrilled with themselves for figuring it out but no one tells HOW? Event in this post there is an obscure reference to a youtube but no link or even a name of a title. Just worn out to the point of being pissy over this.

    Go to this recent post for 3 fixes, one that includes v2 Google recaptcha.
