Tips for adjusting twenty twelve

  • I switched my website from twenty eleven to twenty twelve. Main reason is that it looks great on my Ipad :-).

    I am not an expert on themes, so what is the best place to find information about editing the twenty twelve, I know you should make a child theme.

    Things I want to change:
    – The background of the main part is very white, how can I change the color or even add an image. I am not talking about the “background”.
    – The header is now below the nav bar, can I change this?

    Correct. As Twenty Twelve will be the default theme in WordPress 3.5, it is vital that you do not edit the theme itself but create a child theme for your changes. You should then be able to add the custom CSS needed.
