Title and alt text disappearing in Safari.

Hello, I have an issue with the titles and alt text staying displayed in Safari. I have 1.3 plugin and current Safari. WP is 3.9. This all seemed to occur during the autoupdate to 3.9.

In my gallery, I have title and alt text appearing to left of image. See: https://www.laurierubinprojects.com/work/artifacts/

It appears correctly in FF and Chrome, but in Safari it flickers and disappears. Any ideas how I can get that text to stay displayed? What are your thoughts on this?

This is what I have for css:

.galleria-info-text, .galleria-infolayer {
position: fixed;
top: 450px;
left: 10px;
display: block;
width: 400px;
}

If I change position to absolute it appears within the content area (over image) but as I move to left to position it starts to disappear under what seems to be a div. Perhaps I can define the galleria as a div to lay on top?
