    Hi there,

    I have latest versions of wordpress and yoast free plugin.

    Upon updating everything seems to work, however the title and metas module is bugged, cannot navigate through tabs or make changes. all other modules keep working as usual.

    Am I the only one this is happening to? Thought it would be an update bug.

  • Same here.

    Version 5.4.2 does not show meta tags options.

    Hi All,

    @allgeekthings and @ganacontrolrsn

    We are not able to reproduce the issue as the modules and tabs work in the SEO->Titles and Metas sections on our local site when using WordPress 4.8.2 and Yoast SEO 5.4.2 see https://pasteboard.co/GLrUOZk.png.

    If you are not seeing them, that sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:
    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    ?2. Check for conflicts using this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts?
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console with this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console

    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/ for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

    If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium here: https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    I am not sure you are experiencing the same issue. Can you elaborate more on what you mean when you say “not show meta tags options.”? What options are you expecting to see? Where are you expecting to see them?

    Hi there,

    I did found javascript error in console and have created an issu on github.

    https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/7895

    Will stay tuned

    Hi,

    I mean, I can’t see meta options like focus keyword, meta titles and description under the plugin panel. see screenshot

    @kapilgarg07

    That also looks like a JavaScript error. However, we would like to get some additional information before we ask you to try the steps outlined at the previous post:
    ? Can you confirm you have the right user permissions? You can check by going to Users->Your Name->Yoast SEO settings (may need to scroll down) and confirm that both “disable SEO” and “disable readability” are unclicked?
    ? Can you confirm that the Keyword,?Readability, and MetaBox insights are all enabled by going to SEO->Dashboard->Features and checking that Readability, Keyword, MetaBox Insights are both enabled?
    ? Can you confirm that the SEO and Readability are enabled on the posts? You can check by going to SEO->Titles and Metas->Post Type and seeing that the Yoast SEO Meta box says “show”?
    ? Are you using the ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO per chance on your site?

    My issue is the same as him, i can not see meta/titles options inside page/post options, or via the yoast settings, other modules work fine.

    @ganacontrolrsn This issue typically occurs due to the Javascript conflict. So, we suggest you please perform the conflict check by following the steps given by @pcosta88 on here.

    Hi,
    I have checked all these points
    1. Users->Your Name->Yoast SEO settings (may need to scroll down) and confirm that both “disable SEO” and “disable readability” are unclicked?
    All options are unchecked.
    2. SEO->Dashboard->Features and checking that Readability, Keyword, MetaBox Insights are both enabled?
    All options are enabled.
    3. I am not using ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO.
    4. I also disabled all plugins with any other theme but the problem is same. Even this problem occurs on my all 3 websites.
    5. To check issue, I also downgrade WordPress to 4.8.1, but no luck.
