    Hi Maeve

I am facing a small problem. My knowledgebase name is unipedia
    and slug also is unipedia

but in the title it still shows knowledgebase. i have no idea what’s wrong.

I tried to change the slug.. and this works fine. But I really want slug and title to be same. Can you please guide me.

    Thanks.

    Hi Maeve

    Thanks for your reply.

I assume by page name you mean page title?

I will tell you the exact things I am doing.

    1. When I keep knowledgebase slug (in settings page) Unipedia, and keep the title of page Unipedia that has [kbe_knowledgebase] in it. And the url is also https://www.domain.com/unipedia
everything works in this case.. it’s just the title on browser window still shows Knowledgebase
    2. I have also tried to rename the knowledgebase slug in settings page) from Unipedia to something else, and then refresh that page… the title then changes fine to Unipedia
    3. Also, when I just change the permanent link to something different from https://www.domain.com/unipedia, keeping knowledgebase slug same “Unipedia”, then title is again Unipedia.

so basically this is what I am facing.

Please can you post a link to the page with the problem so I can take a closer look?

Am I correct in understand that:
+ In Knowledgebase Settings your slug is set to unipedia
+ In Pages, the title of your knowledgebase page is Unipedia
+ The permalink of your knowledgebase page is /unipedia

With the settings above, everything works perfectly, but the title on browser window shows “Knowledgebase”? <— Can you post a screenshot showing this so I am 100% clear what you mean by “the title in browser window”?

yes, that’s exactly what I meant.

here is the screenshot of all the screens with respective settings.

Ok cool, thanks for clarifying that and sending the example. I see exactly what you mean, and have tested and can replicate. So this is a bug… that title must be hardcoded somewhere in the plugin or templates. We’ll need to fix that in the plugin itself so I’ve raised a ticket for that in our issue tracker: https://github.com/EnigmaWeb/wp-knowledgebase/issues/61

We’ll get to this as soon as we can, but it’s not a mission critical bug so that will probably just be in a few weeks with the next minor release.

Thanks for taking the time to report this. Much appreciated.

FYI: As a temporary patch, I have renamed name to Unipedia in kbe_articles.php file.
