    There is a lot of space between the title of a page and its contens.

    Settings:
    Page title padding bottom: 2px
    Title marging bottom: 2px
    It jumps to the wrong position… ????

    WordPress 6.1.1
    Theme twenty twenty one with the plugins:
    options for twenty twenty one standard and pro
    Editors: Gutenburg, classic and TinyMCE Advanced.

    Hi,

    On the link you supplied do you mean between the title “Familie website” and the separator line?

    Yes.

    In customise mode it looks fine. I publish it and go to another page and there it jumps back to a lower position, the settings are good.

    The padding and marge of the title and the line are set low in px.

    I was surprised that this morning the space above the title was as in the settings? Cache? Slow server?

    Looks OK here but I can’t be sure what exactly you are seeing. What you are describing sounds very much like a cache issue. Can you please disable your cache plugin(s) or purge your cache? Thank you. Oliver

    I’ve used WP Optimize and WP Super Cache to clear the cache and deactived them. I deactivated WP Statistics.
    I’ve deleted all files in the history of the browsers on my PC with CCleaner.
    Restarted browser Brave, login to the wordpress panel, go to custimize, contens. The settings were oke but the page not. See file “position-2.jpg”. And when I clicked on the slider “Page Title Padding Bottom” the contens jumped to the good position, towards the title. See file “position-1”.
    The same results with 1 px and 5 px.

    Ah-ha! I think you found a bug. Can you please try adding this to “Customizer – Additional CSS” and let me know if it resolves your issue …

    .singular .has-post-thumbnail .entry-header {
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    }

    Works!! I put it in the CSS section, the contens jumps to the good position and stays there when I switch to another page. When I switch back it is on the good position…the same with 40px, it jumps down and stays there after switching.

    OK, I’ll get the plugin updated accordingly and let you know when that’s fixed.

    Thank you.
