    Hello,

I am trying desperately to solve my issue but I haven’t found anything in this or any forum to this topic and I feel like I′ve tried everything.

So I′ve set a background image for the page title and everything works like it should. Even if I check the mobile version of the browser everything is on point. But when I check it on the actual phone or mobile device the image is displayed in a size where you can barely see anything. This only applies for every page except the home page.

The theme support wasn’t helpful at all and I am happy for every help.

    Here an example page:

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello there,

Are you able to provide a screengrab of what you’re seeing on a mobile please?

The reason why I ask is because I’ve taken a look at the site and there’s nothing that I can see that looks odd.

I can also see that the CSS dictates that the background image is set to cover, which looks to be expected.

A screenshot can be shared via a link from https://snipboard.io/

Hi Adam did you try to visit the page on your phone?

    I made Screenshots for you.

The mobile Version on the Desktop looks like this:

But when I visit it from the actual phone it looks like this:

I hope that explains the problem better.

Important note: It doesn’t apply on the Main Home Page: https://www.finity-in.com. There is a separate Main Area.

    Hello again,

Many thanks for providing a screenshot that explains this perfectly.

I can’t replicate this on an Android phone, using Chrome.

Can you tell me what browser you’re using there on the mobile?

I’m already suspecting Safari, as it looks like the image isn’t being loaded at all – which I’ve seen happen if the image is being served via a CDN.

It relates to how Safari privacy handles third party links/cookies on sites, if the hosting provider is doing this in some kind of capacity.

Oh that is interesting. I always get this error.

I checked on my iPhone 12pro and 7 Plus on Safari, Firefox and Chrome. It never shows the image correctly.

I don’t have access to an android phone.

    Hello there,

Ok, do you know if your host is using a CDN?

Also, are you able to provide a link to the conditions of where you’re seeing as per: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/ please.

    Many thanks in advance.

Hi Adam I can’t see if my host is using a CDN.

as far as I found out so far it must be a caching problem.
