Title as Caption

    Try the admin setting “Caption attribute” as “alt”.

    Tried that and it did not work. Just trying to get the simple title to appear in the caption for the basic wordpress gallery functionality.

    You’re saying the alt does not show up as the caption; does the image have any alt, maybe the alt is empty? Is there any error in the console? Do you have a website I can view to check for you?
