Title bar bug

    Hello,

    Recently after the updates of Translate Press Plugin, it was required to perform a database update and after that i have some issue on title bar of my pages and posts. My default Language is in Albanian Language that is OK, but in English version all pages on title bar has changed by adding a tag text before the name of title. For example if the title of the page in translated version is “contact” on the title bar now it appears as: “<span title=”Kontakt”> Kontakt”. Is there any option to fix it automatically because i have a lot of pages and posts and fixing it manually on every page would be tedious.
    There has been 2 updates of plugin but the problem isn’t resolved. Please help!

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out to us!

    Can you please visit TranslatePress -> Settings -> Advanced

    Then, enable these features 1 by 1 in this order and try to see if it makes a difference. Also please disable or clear the cache if you have any.

    1. Fix missing dynamic content
    2. Disable dynamic translation
    3. Fix spaces between HTML attributes
    4. Fix broken HTML

    Let me know if it changed anything.

    Hello,

    There might be an incompatibility with some other theme/plugin’s code.

    In order to exclude this option, a conflict test is the next recommended step(preferably in a testing environment):

    • Enable a default WordPress theme – e.g. Twentysixteen
    • Disable all other plugins and enable them one by one , checking each time if the problem appears

    No im sorry its the same.

    It was OK last month and the problem began after updating about 3 weeks ago the plugin and it was required a database updater. After that i had that issue.

    Can u help me with a custom code? Thanks

    Hello,

    Could you try enabling the options from the Debug section in advanced settings?

    Also,please try looking for those strings in the database.

    Your translations are saved into the wp_trp* tables.

    Hello,

    It worked after I checked yes the option “Disable post container tags for post title”.

    If i leave these option checked is OK?
