Title disappeared from captions after update

    Hi,

    After I recently udpated WordPress and all my plugins (incl. FooGallery), my galleries stopped displaying titles in the caption.

    I’m talking about the caption when you open the FooBox lightbox, not when hovering the images.

    The legend is still being displayed, though.

    You may have a look at the “Dermopigmentation” gallery. Almost all images have both a title and a legend (especially the last ones), but only the legend is showing.

    My gallery is explicitly configured to display titles and legends. You can see a screenshot of this configuration at the following address: https://athena-institut.ch/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/athena-foogallery-title-legend-config.png

    I tried deleting the HTML cache and re-saving the gallery, but nothing changes.

    Can you please check if the attachment captions have been added to the images. Your Attachment Title and Captions and Description can all be added to an image from within the Media Library. Alternatively, you can edit the information from within your gallery.

    To do this, once in the Edit gallery section, click on the Manage Items tab just above your images. If you hover over an image now, you’ll see a small ‘i’ in the top left corner. Click on this to edit the image and add the captions in the areas pointed on the image in this link: https://d.pr/i/A4I8i3

    Try this out and inform us if it works.

    Thank you for your help.

    I’m sorry, I forgot to mention that I had already manually added the captions to the images in the Media Library.

    The Title and Caption fields are set for those images.

    The lightbox (FooBox) used to display both fields, but now only the caption is shown but not the title anymore.

    Hey @influxfooplugins,

    Any news on this?

    I’ve temporarily put both lines of text in the caption to try to fix the issue, but that’s only going to be enough for a little while.

    I’m a developer so if there’s anything I can do to help fix this, please don’t hesitate to ask me.
