Title Disappearing

Hello,

Really new to this and just wondering if anybody can help with a few problems.

Firstly: I am having trouble with my titles: they appear for about 2 secs, then promptly disappear. Cant figure out why this is – spent 3 hours looking round and familiarising myself with the settings, but cant seem to alter this.

Secondly: Thought it might be a problem that I dont have the latest version of word press, so tried to update and got error:
Cannot redeclare class Plugin_Upgrader in /home/hy9822/public_html/lawofattractionguides.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php on line 593

Ant help with any of these – much appreciated
