"Title" instead of "link text"

    hello there,
    you have created this plugin to replace the useless inline wordpress linking tool.

    So the purpose of your plugin was to make the linking just as it was before the new wordpress update.

    And you got very close, except for the “title” field (which used to be in the old wordpress linking ) which you replaced with “link text” which is a 100% useless feature, because in order to create the link you have already written something which you highlight and then select “link”.

    Could you fix this little thing?
    You can even remove the button functionality and of course the “link text” altogether.

    I see your point with the “button functionalty”. I’ll make it optional in an upcoming version.

    But the “link text” is a feature I did not change. It is and was an element of the tinyMCE and I don’t see any reason to change it. I sometimes need it to change the text after I added a Link.

    ok you can leave both of them.
    But the main point of my message is to get back the “Title”.
    Can you add that?

    Then you can leave text link and button, I just won’t use them, but the “Title” is important.

    I would also love the see the link text field gone.

    Maybe you can make it as an option in the settings, to remove field?

    Well, as I wrote earlier the link text is a pretty important field.
    This way you can change the displayed text for your link. Why would you want to remove it?

    Hey,
    I see really no need for that field. It’s completely unnecessary.

    At that point, where I add the link, the link text is already there. I have already typed the text and selected with the mouse.
    If I really need to change the link text later, I would never go into the link modal.
