Title Link

  • Excuse the idiotic questions, but…
    Does the title of a post HAVE to be a link? Or can it just be plain old text?
    Additionally, there is no space between my posts; the first post hops straight underneath the second one – any ways I can put in at least a paragraph space between them?
    Being new to PHP and WP, I am somewhat lost. Any help appreciated!

  • i have the same problem. google news doesn’t like wordpress blogs because of this. how can we remove the link in the title and add a small “permalink” link elsewhere?

    it depends on the theme that you’re using. generally look for the h2 tag and remove the href that is around the the_title wp tag.

    if you want to make a permalink elsewhere, then you can take the href that is around the the_title tag move it.
