I have installed Yoast SEO plugin on my site https://diabetesvault.com

I have set the Title template for Pages as follows

    %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

When I see the way the page title displays in the the view , it appears as follows
    https://screencast.com/t/mJPzzHOjcZO

The title tag is not complete based on the title template I have used in the settings for Page templates

As per the documentation given by Yoast the Title should look like

    https://www.screencast.com/t/KaIOfRizfw

I checked my theme and it DOES NOT have the code add_theme_support ( title – tags) in the function.php page ( as per the support mentioned by Yoast )

I am using Genesis Sample theme on Genesis framework

Can anyone suggest what I should do?

What do you have entered for the site title?

Admin > Settings > General > Site Title

I am having the same exact issue:

According to the instructions, this should show separator and Sitename:
    %%title%% %% page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

But the separator and the site name do not show.
I have this same setup for Pages, Posts and Products and none display correctly.

I do have my site named correctly on The Settings > General

My theme is Flatsome and I am running the latest versions of all plugins, Woo, and WordPress.

    Thank you

Actually I just figured it out that the title does work.

So, the %%title%% %% page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%% works fine if I do not type anything in the Title field.

The title of the page then becomes the Title tag.

I think that is how it is intended but I saw no explanation, so I assumed I needed to type a title there.

    Thanks
