title of the entry with and without thumbnail

hi all,
i’ve got following problem with entries when using thumbnails and without.

without a thumbnail everything looks OK, title is in the frame and properly positioned as on the picture

however when I’m adding a thumbnail everything changes – title frame becomes blue and moves above the initial frame and overlaps with menu.

where and how should i fix it in order to get this working properly?
