Title on single post spacing issue

I took the double arrows out in the titles (>>) from the general_template file but now there’s there’s spacing in the tag:
<title>spacespacespaceTITLE NAME</title>

How can I properly remove the spacing in a single post so it’s just
<title>TITLE NAME</title>
