Title Tag Issue

    Has anyone figured out a solution to make it so that title tags on pages don’t have the title of the post and then the whole title of the website?

    Looks like this?

    Website Title: Cars for sale

    Post Title: Discounts

    Title Tag: <title>Discounts | Cars for sale</title>

    I am currently using WordPress SEO plugin by Yoast to re-write title tags but this obviously doesn’t work on tags and categories. How do I fix this? Website I am working on doesn’t have titles changed yet. See it at https://www.thelanguagebanc.com

  • Why wouldn’t it work with tags and cats?

    The settings page at WordPress SEO -> Titles and Metas -> Taxonomies should cover it, if I understand correctly – you can set up any format you wish!

    Oh haha, I guess I should have looked into the plugin deeper lol.
