• I’ve been trying to figure out why my title/ meta description wont change in the google search results. I’ve changed the settings (dashboard> settings> general, then changed the site title and tagline) and nothing has changed. When you search for my website (www.tbgmedia.org) it still shows up as “A wordpress site/ Just another wordpress site” then “Hello world etc etc etc” as the meta description. I’ve also installed the Yoast SEO plugin, changed the title/description but nothing will change. Please help! https://www.tbgmedia.org/

  • do the new data show when you look into the html code of your site in the browser?

if yes, then it might just take some time for the search engines to catch up and to show the new info.

are you using for instance any google webmaster tools to check your site’s status?

If you can assist further it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

possibly right-click somewhere on your site (maybe not on an image or on a link) and click ‘view page source’
