Title tag showing separator as &#8211

    The title tag works fine when the page loads however if I switch between Month/List view the title is regenrated and shows the separator as an HTML code. How can I edit/fix this?

    I am not using Yoast.

  • Same here in two unrelated websites… It’s an – that is rendered in the non-HTML title tag as a unicode #8211;

    Changing variables like $title_past is not going to do it, because it is a link between the page title and the site title

    I’ve looked everywhere in the plugin and cannot figure out where this is coming from. So frustrating.

    Figure it out! The Plugin Really Simple SSL was causing it for some reason. Used redirect method and it works now. Still don’t understand where this is being generated from but I don’t care now. Problem solved.
