• I’m not sure if it’s here I should be posting but upon checking my WordPress website I find I have no H1 Headers. I automatically assumed that all post titles were H1 which appears not the case. Does AllinOne SEO do this (I’m using it on my site), should mty theme create them or do I simply need to add them under the post Titles in the content?

  • I automatically assumed that all post titles were H1 which appears not the case.

In most cases (i.e., not using an SEO plugin) this is a theme function.

Many themes will use H1 on the front page for the site title and H1 for the post title on individual articles, for example.

Strange because I keep getting (from different title tag checkers) that I have no h1 or h2 titles recognised from the post titles! I’ve been reading through numerous forums for the last 4 hours but to be honest I’m struggling. I use All in One SEO and I’m awaiting feedback from the template developer. If I add another title within my post (at the top) and tag it h1 it gives me an SEO score hit of 100% I would have thought it should be easier to have each of my blog post titles as h1 which would look nicer that displaying 2 titles! Otherwise I have to edit every blog post and add an h1 title at the top of each post

Would really appreciate some guidance and feedback on this
