Title variable for Primary Product Category

    Hi!

    I’m currently looking for a variable to display the primary category of a product in the meta-title.

    I found %%ct_product_cat%% which display all categories, but was wondering if there’s an equivalent for the primary product category only. I did find this question a couple of time, so I think it’s something people are looking for, but couldn’t find any answers. Is it something currently under development?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the link, much appreciated. Although I did find this article before. The only Primary Category variable available is for POST and PAGE, am I right?

    What I’m looking for is for Product Category of WooCommerce.

    I’m guessing I have to build a custom one?

    We appreciate you for bringing this to our attention. A bug report has been sent to our development for this issue and our development team will investigate this issue further.

    In the meantime, if you’d like you’ll need to custom code in order to grab the primary category from the WooCommerce products.

    All right thanks a lot. I’ll try fixing it or keep an eye out for the update, which ever come first.

    Hi, Although this thread was marked resolved, the issue has not been taken care of in the latest plugin update. I don’t see the change of script suggested in the github related thread happening.

    Can this be taken care of in the next update? This is of significance for this plugin to be meaningful for most serious ecommerce sites.
