titles in posts messed up

    2 part question.

    I tried putting “meta” tages into the post template.

    The first question is that somehow I did something so that ” title=”Permanent Link: Post Name”>Post Name” shows in the title rather than just the Title…. What’d I do wrong?

    Second, am I nuts or is putting meta tags in the post template ineffective…?

  • What sorts of meta tags? Typically, they’re only useful/used if between the <head> tags.

    Backing up a step then, this issue aside, what were you after?
