titles not breaking to next line

    My thumbnails are a mess. They should be displaying (and used to display) with the thumbnail above the title (of the linked post). But the titles aren’t breaking to the next line, or wrapping around in general, so instead of everything being neatly lined up in columns, it’s just kind of a big pile of text and images. Is this a bug, or do I need to do something on my end to fix it?

    Oh yeah yuck. Did that happen when you updated YARPP? And under “display options” are you using the thumbnails option or the custom template? And do you have custom CSS to style your related posts?

    I’m not certain when it first started, to be honest, so I’m not sure if it was an YARPP update or a WP update or what. I am using the thumbnails option — nothing custom. I have done some customization to my overall site theme, but nothing other than colors and such that I recall, and all before this glitch. I haven’t done anything custom to YARPP specifically.

    I can’t swear there’s nothing I screwed up on my end, but I can’t think of anything I’ve done that might be at all related.

    Hi @a2jc4life, I finally got around to inspecting the code on your site.

    Summary: Please update to the latest version of YARPP from www.ads-software.com or my forked version from GitHub. Although a reminder that if you’re wanting to continue using my forked version, we should continue this discussion on GitHub (and future issues should be reported there too.)

    Longer Story:
    I see you’re using the BETA version I suggested last time you had an issue mentioned in this forum. Although it fixed the issue you were having at the time, I see it had a bug that was preventing the YARPP thumbnail CSS from loading.

    The latest version of YARPP from www.ads-software.com doesn’t have that bug (although it may reintroduce the issue you had last time, which I don’t think should come up very often at all), and I’ve also fixed it in my fork. So switching to either one will fix your current issue.

    Switching back to the main YARPP worked, and so far I don’t seem to be seeing the previous bug of not pulling up related posts.

    Ya I think that issue should be rally rare, like you had a 1/1000 chance of getting it.
    FYI @jeffparker this issue is resolved.
