Titles with quotes get cut off

  • Hello,

    I have a news website and everytime I post an article that has quotes in it, the quote part gets cut off. Is this a known bug? Is there any fix?

    For example, if I post an article that has the following title: Minister of Health says “people shouldn’t be worried”, the final part gets cut off and it will only appear in the profiles the following: Minister of Health says

    In order to fix it, I have to use Twitter Card Validator and Facebook Debugger.

    Here’s an example that just happened.

    The title of the news is the following: VALORANT: Buff “secreto” em Yoru é revelado por Rioter

    Here’s how the card appears on Twitter:

    The preview text and images are displayed by twitter based on the twitter cards.

    Please check your twitter card settings(if using other plugin or theme).
    There weren’t any issues with quote when we tested with the text
    VALORANT: Buff “secreto” em Yoru é revelado por Rioter .

    If you want title in tweet text please set it at the message format settings.

    This has nothing to do with Twitter because the same bug happens in Facebook also. It’s clearly a plugin issue, which cuts all characters after a quote in the title.
